Day 12: Genealogy Day
The Crickets - The “Chirping” Crickets
From what my dad tells me, my grandparents were big fans of classic country music and early rock n’ roll, especially Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Elvis Presley & Buddy Holly (who’s probably my dad’s favourite artist too).

March 12: Genealogy Day
I can't think of any time my grandparents listened to music other than watching Hee Haw. Hoyt Axton appeared in a few episodes, so I can see them listening to him at some point.

I know this day is for military and working dogs, but I thing any dog deserves some recognition.
Now go watch some Dodo videos and cry yourself to sleep.

These are of Chewie back in January and his first time experiencing snow.
This is of Luna and Chewie back in August. Luna is about 5 or 6 years old here, Chewie was 3 months old.
Luna is a Corgi Goldendoodle (we got her DNA tested - 50% Corgi, 25% Poodle, 25% Golden Retriever). Chewie is all Golden Retriever. The breeder said he is of the lineage of Air Bud....not sure if this means it was the original Air Bud...or one from the various sequels. Not that it matters, as we got him snipped and didn't pay the extra grand for AKC registering.

The Afrosound of Colombia Vol 1
This great/slightly bonkers compilation contains both amazing songs and some pretty far-out tunes. This one "Dog, Cat" by Afrosound is pretty squarely in the latter category, but does at least contain some dog sounds...

Definitely going with “tolerated” here. This was my mom’s record - I found it at my grandparents house. They only had one record player, so presumably they tolerated this enough to let my mom play it. I honestly don’t know what my grandparents listened to - I don’t think they were huge music fans, at least in their older years.
