Found this OG copy for $12 on my second visit to Mississippi Records in Portland back in 2019. Manila envelope with crushed penny, bent hairpin, a few inserts, and a small print included.

This is probably in the top ten of CDs that I listened to the most in the 2000s.

Irish film, Irish actress singing every song, I count it. Thank you Jessie Buckley. I will not rest till every Barnes and Noble clears out their copies off of clearance. I think I say this every time I find a way to shoehorn it into a challenge but folks, if you like some classic country/Americana (and Primal Scream) and great female vocals this is a great cheap add. Or watch the movie. Criminally underappreciated.

I'm not sure you can get any more Irish than Glen. Amazing singer/songwriter and live performer, I was lucky enough to have front row seats on this tour.

The Thrills - So Much For The City
This is an album by the Irish band The Thrills. It’s an album I wanted on vinyl for a while and it was thankfully reissued last year as part of of RSD but the bummer was that this was part of Euro RSD and not included amongst the US offerings. Lucky for me I had @BazookaTooth offer to help me out.

This is an album by the Irish band The Thrills. It’s an album I wanted on vinyl for a while and it was thankfully reissued last year as part of of RSD but the bummer was that this was part of Euro RSD and not included amongst the US offerings. Lucky for me I had @BazookaTooth offer to help me out.
