Probably one of my favorite albums ever. It's one of those albums I like so much that it's kind of weird for me to talk about it. And so in the spirit of this theme, I won't bore anyone by trying to explain why I like it. Just dance!

Crystal castles II

The first time I heard this album I was hooked, sadly the artist has been tainted by allegations of unacceptable behavior however there is another artist here that shines brightly and I can still appreciate that.

I bought the CD when it came out. There was a couple years - starting around 1997 - that I was into Electronic music.

Day 9 - Something To Dance To

LCD Soundsystem - This Is Happening


The album starts out with the anti-dance song to dance to, which I feel kinda fits perfectly into the aging musician crisis that the creator was going through at the time. It seems like a juxtaposition of “nightlife is the worst why are we still doing it” wrapped up in a nice “fuck it let’s dance” package.

“You wanted a hit. I told you we don’t do hits”
