Been sitting here with tented fingers for over a dozen years now, just waiting for Jimmy to prove them all wrong. This movie is going to make so much dang money.

I don’t even care for/about Avatar that much; I just can’t believe people would doubt him when he says he’s making a grip of sequels.

I am sure it will make mountains of money. Personally I would rather watch my VHS copies of Aliens, Terminator, and/or The Abyss.

That time of year where best-of-year lists come out and all the “I only recognize this movie” or “I have not heard of any of these so how can they be the best” comments from people who only watch movies if there’s a Marvel logo at the start.

Emily the Criminal was good! Less of a dark comedy role for once and more of a thriller. But I think Aubrey plays it well!

That time of year where best-of-year lists come out and all the “I only recognize this movie” or “I have not heard of any of these so how can they be the best” comments from people who only watch movies if there’s a Marvel logo at the start.

Gotta admit there were a couple lists I saw from NYT critics of which I only recognized a quarter of the movies.

Between movies and music, December involves a lot of catch-up on my part. And I'd say I'm pretty adventurous. There's just so much out there.

My problem is that I will stop in the middle of a movie or show to listen to music. Movies can really get in the way of my album listening.

I knit and listen to albums. It works best if I am streaming an ablum though.

Watching Satoshi Kon’s Tokyo Godfathers tonight as it continues to climb inexorably up my list of favorite Christmas movies.

Was just going through my unwatched pile to plan my viewing schedule for the rest of the month and remembered i had that one waiting. So i'll be watching it in two weeks

this is a cowardly hedge, but I will say that I didn’t particularly love it the first time I saw it. it has grown and grown for me over the years. I really don’t think there is anything else quite like it.
