I will say that my wife and I watched Muppet Christmas Carol last year for the first time, and I didn't really like it all that much, despite loving The Muppets in general. Maybe I'm just not a fan of Christmas movies.

Yeah they need to do something with the Muppets. I'd take more adaptations with Muppets. I think the reboot films aren't that good. But Muppets Haunted Mansion was kind of fun.

I thought this was an underrated gem. It made me think about how I'd act which is part of what I look for in movies. For the same reason, the wife hated it.

We watched The Muppet Christmas Carol last night for the first time in probably 20+ years and I still remembered most of the lyrics. It holds up well despite some janky greenscreenery.
White Christmas is and will always be my favourite Christmas Movie. Give me Danny Kay and Bing Crosby in drag every Christmas, please.

Yeah, it was awesome....I've watched it three times and it holds up.
(First time was without subtitles though, which was a major detriment)

I just watched this version last night! George C. Scott's gotta be one of the best to ever do it.this is my yearly always watched christmas film.
i haven't seen the muppets one in probably 20 years, either. might have to dig that out.

Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Elf and Bad Santa are my favorite Xmas movies.
Also-- She Said and Armageddon Time were both great and Moonage Daydream was one of the most captivating things I've watched all year. An audio-visual feast designed to trip you the fuck out.
