Just watched this. A documentary about a fantastic story from my childhood, where a guy in his 30’s pretended to be a 16 year old boy to try and get into medical school.

I know a couple of folk in this, and went to uni with a few folk that were in the same year as him. If it ever pops up on streaming in the US I’d give it a go (UK folk, it’s on iPlayer!).

It's on Hulu in the US

We watched Strange World on Disney+ this morning. Hands down one of best they've done in a while. The creativity and visuals are astounding. The characters could have used a bit more development, as it relied on the visual aspect a lot but they were so good that it didn't really bother me. I'll definitely watch this one again.

Glass Onion was a lot of fun. I enjoyed the first Knives Out well enough, but this one is so much better. It's bigger, weirder, funnier, a little more ridiculous but that's what I like about it.
I put them on equal footing but both are delightful. If Johnson and Craig keep making them with this level of glee, I will keep watching them.

Will have to give this a rewatch. My girlfriend and I watched it last night and it didn’t do much for us, though we loved the first one. Love the cast and was very excited, but felt like something was missing compared to the first one. Still very much on board the Knives Out universe

That's good to know. I thought the first one was... fine, but didn't love it as much as others did. Looking forward to this one, mostly because of the cast.

We all really liked it. Like, it's not a top-tier Disney movie, but it's a solid B with a lot going for it, and I'd watch it again some time.

I preferred the original Knives Out but Glass Onion was enjoyable too. The cast was great!
Onion felt a little bit wacky in the beginning until the plot starts developing

BTW, is it weird that I was expecting Radiohead Knives out to play at some point of Knives out but Glass Onion just straight up plays Glass Onion during the credits?

We double-featured Glass Onion and Bullet Train last night and had a blast.

I'm all here for Rian Johnson pumping out more goofy modern day Sherlock/Poirot/CLUE. My main complaint is that he holds Blanc's cards too closely, limiting our ability as viewers to chance much of a plausible guess at how things went down. The characters and script sure made it a fun ride though!

Bullet Train was just bonkers fun. Nothing wrong with a purely popcorn movie.

Offtopic but, i just realized from your intensifies cat that the board changed something where our images can move
Yeah I think they fixed that a while back. My dumpster fire profile picture was also a gif!

I also considered using this one but I thought the intense cat was more accurate to my mood around the holidays:
