It's also tragic which makes it different from a lot of other "haunted house" films.

Saw Midsommar in a theater last night and had a blast. I loved this movie the first time I saw it in 2019. And tbh I haven’t seen a movie since that has had quite the same impact on me. So it was great being able to see it on a big screen again. That ending still is one of my favorite horror film endings. The combination of everything happening with the music and final shot is just a perfect way to finish it.

Moving to NY was a nice change and the killer was much more ferocious than in previous movies. But if you move the series to NY and you don't have at least one Ghostface Killah track in it, that's a fail. Also, what's with the lack of medical attention to the survivors at the end of these movies. Someone got stabbed in the gut and aside from a sling for her arm, she could just walk home lol

I'm surprised how much i ended up liking the Scream franchise (Scream 3 excluded).

the new snow white 4k release is a stunning viewing experience. a must have, imo. i don’t know if/when it’ll happen, but this and the recent cinderella 4k have me real excited about a 4k fantasia release.
