It’s a Thanksgiving staple. Doesn’t just make ya wanna get together with your best buds, play some tunes and hoover up rails and rails of some of the best cocaine money can buy?Seen so many snippets of it before, but tonight I watched The Last Waltz in full for the first time. Feel like I've ascended to another plane.

Supposedly, Scorsese had to scrub the cocaine rock outta Neil’s left nostril in post as it was more than a bit distracting. If you can be as torqued on the stuff as Van Morrison clearly is and still perform at that level, how bad could it be
gladiator ii was just... whelming, i guess. more campy than its predecessor with less to say, and the plot moved forward without any real intrigue or emotion. works just fine as a popcorn movie and looked good on a big screen. i guess i'm glad i didn't hate it, but i won't really have any attachment to it, either.

The Coens have probably my favorite filmography in the western canon, so I don't know that I could ever set it in stoneI think my top 5-10 would stay roughly the same.
