But then, my buddies and I went to House Of 1,000 Corpses with a breadbag full of mushrooms, so I'm obviously a little bit crazy!

The scariest part of this whole experience was how unprepared we were for exiting the theater onto the Granville Strip right as all the night clubs and venues were starting to pop off on the Friday or Saturday night (I don't remember which) — so much neon; so many dudebros! 😲🤯🫣

Yeah that wouldn't work for my either. One of my buddy's had his first shroom trip at a GWAR show, also bonkers to me. But those shrooms never liked me the same as acid used to. Don't think either would anymore 🫤

I've had a bit of a hankering for some shrooms over the past while, but haven't had the time and space to be able to commit to them. They did wonders for my mental health in my 20s and 30s.

Last time I did acid (about 8 years ago) I did a half hit after my late night gig at what was one of my favourite festivals back when I was on the road most summers, and it was an absolute blast (although the 2CB I did about 8 hours later wasn't necessarily the funnest experience in real-time.). I won't say I'll never do it again, but it would have to be a pretty special and specific circumstance for it to happen!

I had seen My Old Ass pop up (note: I see the interesting string of words here) on Prime but do not know if I would have seen it if a few folks here had not mentioned it. Really glad I watched it.

I thought it was a pretty unique concept. Although I am not encyclopedic about movies so maybe it is a retread. Anyway, really well executed.

I predicted the reason Old Ass told Young Ass to avoid Chad from the get go but, nonetheless, that scene in the last fifteen minutes was a gut punch. I didn't cry....you cried!!!

Also, I loved one of the conversations between Chad and Elliot when they took one of their first boat rides.....regarding appreciating moments while you're in them and coming back to places. Chad asks her if she remembers the LAST time she ever played pretend with her friends growing up. As a 40+ year old that shit hit hard. And, as Elliot remarked, it was deep. Chad said how you don't realize the last time you would pull your bicycle in the garage and lower it never to do the same thing will be the last time when you're in it so you don't appreciate it. Man, some great dialogue.
We watched this one with my teens when the littles were at their mom’s. It really was very good. I did not expect that ending.
We started our Christmas movie watching. We try to watch ones we've never seen before and then move on to favorites.

This was goofy but cute. We chuckled at the Blockbuster Video scene because it's such a time capsule to the pre-Netflix era.

The Holiday is one of my favorite movies! It’s a proper sappy romcom.
