Die Hard 2 basic cable TV cut with expletives replaced >>>>>>>> Die Hard 2 hard R theatrical cut.We started our Christmas movie watching. We try to watch ones we've never seen before and then move on to favorites.
This was goofy but cute. We chuckled at the Blockbuster Video scene because it's such a time capsule to the pre-Netflix era.
Tonight....
Yippie ki yay, Mr. Falcon!Die Hard 2 basic cable TV cut with expletives replaced >>>>>>>> Die Hard 2 hard R theatrical cut.
All the blood violence but with more “Rascals” and “Mother Lovers”.
Like the original Die Hard is such a great movie it doesn’t need that extra level but Die Hard 2 definitely benefits from that additional layer of unintentional humor.Yippie ki yay, Mr. Falcon!
I was a fan of Die Hard's replacement - Yippie ki yay, Kimosabe! At least, that's what I remember. I tried finding it online, and I've never been able to find it.Yippie ki yay, Mr. Falcon!

When the little one is older and not resistant to anything on the television being anything other than what she wants, I might start the Christmas equivalent of @LeeVing ’s Halloween thread.
Last Night, I watched Red One. It was dumb action fun. There was some inventiveness in how Santa gets things done that was cool. If you want an action flick, it’s decent popcorn fair.
This morning, we all watched That Christmas which is a British animated feature about a sea side town that has a blizzard at Christmas and hijinks ensue. This one may have to be an annual thing moving forward. Very heart warming and genuinely funny at parts.
The wife and I tend to rewatch Krampus every year. It was the first one she put on this year, which I find funny because she's typically not into that kind of movie. I'll probably add Violent Night to my annual Christmas rewatch list this year. I did a rewatch of Christmas Vacationb late last night, but it didn't do anything for me this time. Bad Santa is a decent rewatch too.Sounds good to me, although I don't watch too many actual Christmas movies these days...more Christmas-adjacent. My brother visited from Mississippi last weekend and we watched Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale, Krampus, and Jack Frost (had to go with the Rifftrax version for this one).
The one movie I do try to watch at least once every season is It's a Wonderful Life - I bought the 4K release a couple of years ago, but still hadn't watched it. Last year we streamed it on a different TV.
