Gunn really does seem to get how to do this genre right. I have to admit this looks better than any marvel movie has to me in a while. Would be awesome to finally get some of the DC characters done right. I really need him to do a good Green Lantern. They should do the zero hour story line with Parallax. It's the perfect DC universe story to pull in even lesser known characters.

I get why they did it, but I'm amused that a DC trailer leads with "Director of the Guardians of the Galaxy Trilogy" and doesn't even mention "The Suicide Squad" because he did a dang good recovery job on that one.

He turned a comic book about a talking raccoon and a tree with a limited vocabulary into the greatest MCU trilogy. Suicide Squad was a hot mess and he made a banger of a sequel. He clears whoever Marvel gets to make their slob lol

They’re making a Lanterns series but in 2026.

Guardians are more popular and I’m assuming some people would mistake him for the director of the first Suicide Squad and stay away lol
