Neverending Covid-19 Coronavirus

Also, that brain parasite from your cats poo that makes you more likely to engage in risky behavior.

Not gonna lie I might have this and I’m really pretty okay with it. Completely unrelated; anybody wanna swing by and stand a couple feet apart while we practice juggling knifes after sniffing some modeling glue?

Is this distemper?

State officials in Colorado and Ohio issued cease-and-desist orders to Hobby Lobby on Wednesday after the craft store quietly reopened locations in defiance of coronavirus-related lockdowns. However, Hobby Lobby stores remain open in at least 14 of the 38 states currently under stay-at-home mandates calling for the closure of nonessential businesses, as confirmed by 20 employees who spoke to Business Insider anonymously this week. In addition to Colorado and Ohio, the employees work in the following states: Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas.

Three weeks ago, Conrad Buchanan was a healthy, vivacious Florida DJ who loved dancing with his daughter. But on March 14, the 39-year-old started feeling sick. His wife Nicole tried to get him tested for coronavirus, but was denied.

"We couldn't get him tested. I fought and fought and fought," she said. “They didn't want to test him due to his age and (because) he had no underlying health issues."

By March 22, Conrad's condition had deteriorated so badly that Nicole drove him to the hospital. The young father was intubated immediately after he was dropped off.

Nicole went to park the car. She never saw her husband again.

Conrad Buchanan's death illustrates the harsh reality of Covid-19: No one is immune from this disease, and even young, healthy people can die from it.

Corona becomes a victim of the coronavirus.

The article basically says that they are reducing their activities to a minimum.

Also, that photo is crazy. All the shelves around the full stock of Corona are completely empty.

Is this distemper?
Nooooo. Distemper is a single stranded RNA virus that infects a number of body systems, primarily in canids, but in other families as well. The mortality is quite high in unvaccinated critters.

Toxoplasmosis, on the other hand, is a parasite! Tiny little protist that likes to form cysts in the brain and change your behavior in complex and subtle ways! Think the mammalian version of a cordyceps fungus in ants! Also, it's possible that about half of the worlds population of humans have latent infections. Whoops!

So my landlord continues to be a complete a**hole. He won't accept checks from me. He will only accept payments through the bank (like venmo or whatever). My rent is higher than the limit allowed per day at my bank, so I have to send him payment over 3 days. On the 1st, he texted me that he hadn't received anything. On the 2nd, he texted me that he got the 1st but nothing else. This morning, he texted me that he got the 1st and 2nd but nothing else. And that is it.

My response to him this morning was: "I'm a bit disappointed that given the situation in the world that the only thing you are concerned with is rent on your investment property. You have not asked if I am sick, if my family is sick, if I still have a job. Just where your money is."

So yeah. That's how my day is starting.
