I’m Gen X so I’m right in the middle of the Gen X - Boomer bickering and see a little of both sides.Perhaps my perspective is different because for all of my adult life older people have said things that are sweeping negative assumptions about Millennials that aren't based on fact and blamed Millennials for all of the problems they have faced. Never in any of those comments was I offended by being referred to as a Millennial or even a snowflake, nor did I think either approached a slur at any point. To me, the only thing that was offensive was the substance and intent of the statements, IF I found them remotely offensive that is.
I've seen it as well and that sort of inconsiderate selfish entitled behavior pisses me right off!Never seen so many people out walking around in groups, people having parties in their yards, all the restaurant patios crowded. I felt like a weirdo picking up food in a mask.
Wow, it just amazing seeing how divided we are as Americans over issues like wearing masks.
For example, where I went to high school in rural western Massachusetts most people republican. Many of spread out across the country.
I just watched a snapchat story from a former classmate who now lives in the midwest. In an area that has opened back up and has no policies mandating that you wear a mask.
She went to Goodwill this morning and was refused entry into the store because she wasn't wearing a mask. And the tone of the video was she has no intention of wearing one and that that trip to Goodwill was a 'huge fucking waste of my time" and that "it's their loss of business" over their oppressive policies. "They just lost a customer".
I just find this insane, even more so coming from people I knew growing up.
I also honestly believe that stores in these parts that advertise as "mask free zones" probably benefit more than stores mandating a mask.
All kidding aside there are a lot of Juggalos on my block, and they are all pretty down to earth ,have pretty good jobs and are pretty normal except for when they wild out and put on the clown make up.
I don’t think so, most people will do what they are supposed to do without issue even if they are unhappy about it. Right now though there is just a loud obnoxious selfish few that are throwing tantrums. These people need to grow up. No one wants to wear a mask, we do it because that is why we have to do, especially right now, to protect people. It is one thing to not have any sort of policy on wearing masks it is another to tell customers they CAN’T wear one. It would be like a a taxi company had a policy that Their cabs were “seatbelt free”. The only reason you have a “mask free” policy is because you are an asshole plain and simple.Wow, it just amazing seeing how divided we are as Americans over issues like wearing masks.

Yeah I live on a city block with a out 50 houses on each side of the street . There’s a couple that live across the street from me and they rent out their basement to another couple, they would always have parties over there and my neighbor on my side of the street started dating one of the juggalettes, now he’s a juggalo and there’s parties on both sides.Wait? you live in a neighborhood where there is multiple Juggalos? How did this happen? And how did you find out? Do the all stand at the end of their driveway in make up? Did they all decide to buy houses together?
Right? Could you imagine if these people were asked to ration or turn off lights at night during war time? Suck it up buttercup. The weird anger over having to wear a mask to keep not only yourself from getting Covid but not spreading it to others is just astounding. I guess we're pretty insular over here in East Dallas because not wearing a mask is the exception. I truly do not understand the odd flex about not being forced to wear a mask.

I think this is probably true for somewhere where it has been mandated. However, based on what I have seen here this weekend, whatever isn't mandated, the majority of people will not follow. Most people I have seen are definitely ready to go back to normal based on their actions and no masks are to be seen for the most part.I don’t think so, most people will do what they are supposed to do without issue even if they are unhappy about it.
