I'm sure there will be some backlash, but I LOVE the title of that Doechii album.
Enjoying this Doechii album
seems like this year is thinning out a little bit. I've got nothing on the docket this week...
I guess it's partly due to summertime and a lack of many new releases this time of year. I guess it'll get better again by September. It's a bit similar to December till mid January.Same
My thoughts exactlyThe past two weeks...
- Chat Pile - God's Country [yeah yeah I know, both were BNM from a certain source. Fully deserving, however. Now that I no longer listen to Daughters, I have found a more than amicable replacement]
It’s such a fabulously fun album. I grabbed a physical copy from their site. I especially love the rodent playing a little saxophone.

My favourite of the week so far:
Enjoying this synthpop album by DC Gore released last week. Bio says he's inspired by the lyricism of Jarvis Cocker and Neil Tennant. Music has a new wave era synthpop vibe to it.
This is good. How does your copy sound? Pressing ok?
To those of you who like this, you should check out Brandon Coleman's two solo albums (well readily available ones, there is one before Resistance but is only available as a Japanese CD) and Robert Glasper's ArtScience album. It’s such a fabulously fun album. Updated to add Carlos Niño & Friends - Extra Presence as I'd somehow missed it earlier.
