As this is the first release day Friday in August where I actually have a radar list, I figured I would share the albums I'm anticipating.

SRSQ - Ever Crashing (Dream Pop, Shoegaze)
Szun Waves - Earth Patterns (Instrumental Jazz/Electronic/Psychedelic)
The Chats - Get Fucked (Punk, Rock)
The Mountain Goats - Bleed It Out (Alternative)

I cannot wait to hear the new SRSQ. I love her first album.

Her new album was an RFB for me and will be my first experience with her. All the singles are very promising, too

I've got my eyes on this one. From the early singles that I've heard, it runs the gamut from Americana to Folk to Jammy to some more fuzzed out garage rock.

Maybe it's just my ears, but "Saturday Drive" reminds me of Jerry Reed's "East Bound and Down" I'll add this one to my list for tomorrow

I’ve had the Eli Winters album already for about a month now. It quite good.

As I've only seen it mentioned by @Fleetwood-Matt , there also was a new album released by Megan Thee Stallion last Friday, called "Traumazine". It features Rico Nasty, Dua Lipa and other artists.

I was slightly obsessed with her first album - highly recommend that too. This is out on digital now, gonna take a listen today!

On first listen, I really liked the new Silversun Pickups, but I'm also very biased because I like everything they do. I like it better than their last album for sure, and possibly the one before it as well. Also listened to Russian Circles and Hot Chip, both solid albums overall. Didn't realize Thick was out today, that's now on my list.

I had it on at work yesterday and enjoyed it way more than I expected!

I feel like it’s her most hot or miss album. But I don’t think I’ll ever complain about more Megan, especially since the songs that do hit are straight FIRE!

The Russian Circles album is one of their best in their discography, IMO
