5 to the Eye with Stars is great stuff! As is the new Ezra Collective. Tom Skinner's EP is pretty much just what I hoped for and First Aid Kit is solid as ever.

I think my favourite of the jazz albums this week is Village of the Sun, which is basically Binker & Moses meets Basement Jaxx. It's ace.

I keep expecting Phoenix to make another Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix and am initially disappointed when they don't. But it's still another solid entry from the band.

I think both Bankrupt and Ti Amo are actually great, underrated albums. The new one is nice, but it doesn’t immediately hit me. Ti Amo took a lot longer for me to love too. The ones before Wolfgang are good, but if I’m honest Wolfgang is where I think they got better and have been on a nice streak since then.
