My wife mentioned yesterday that I was listening to Cunningham Bird almost everyday… I was like multiple times daily and not as much as Finnigan:

I told my wife that I’m fine with them just doing Fleetwood Mac cover albums moving forward. One every two years or so.I really need to find time to relax and listen to that Andrew Bird album. I love the og album and I was so excited to hear their take on it but I haven’t had a non stressful work day that would allow for a good listen of it
Making a rare recommendation to @duke86fan - check out Anna Butterss’ Mighty Vertebtate. It’s jazz but I think you might dig it. Very chill ambient kind of deal.
Thanks, the vibe is solid, very eclectic.. dunno if it's my fav jazz album this year though because that nala siphero album was fantasticMaking a rare recommendation to @duke86fan - check out Anna Butterss’ Mighty Vertebtate. It’s jazz but I think you might dig it. Very chill ambient kind of deal.
And this is why I love this thread. Also going to check out the Anna Butterss.Since I don't think it's been mentioned yet, the album I'll be listening to first on Friday is this:
Fashion Club - A Love You Cannot Shake
The singles Confusion and Rotten Mind are so damn good, can't wait to hear the rest.
Hell yeah! And the Fashion Club album is better than I could have expected! I was bracing for a situation where the singles were the standouts on an otherwise mediocre album, but damn, this entire album is such an engaging and cohesive project full of great tracks. Faith, Enough, One Day—all of which I hadn't heard till this morning are additional standouts next to Confusion and Rotten Mind, which I had heard. And this is why I love this thread. Also going to check out the Anna Butterss.
I finally got the physical of the new Kelly Lee Owen’s and that is shaping up to be my AOTY.
This one didn't make me bawl like Song For Our Daughter consistently did (and sometimes even now, depending on when I revisit it), but it's another gorgeous singer/songwriter record worthy one's 36min of listening time. More than satisfied with this one, especially both instrumental tracks and "The Shadows."Laura Marling's new album is as beautiful as ever. Such a consistently wonderful songwriter!
