Well it might take some of the fun out of the day but as always there are plenty of leaks and rumblings about who will or will not be taken. Here is what I have so far.
The Kraken will reportedly not be selecting Carey Price. Even if they could retain some salary and deal him it could be a really tough hassle. Good of Seattle to avoid this one.
- While it seemed likely that Tarasenko was going to Seattle it's now looking far more likely that it will be defenseman Vince Dunn.
- I wonder what kind of remembrance video they will do for Jared McCann in Toronto next season. McCann looks to be Seattle's pick from Toronto
- Looks like Yanni Gourde is the guy Seattle has the most interest in from Seattle
- Ditto for Brandon Tanev in Pittsburgh

In fact, I'd call Seattle to see what they'd want in particular for Gourde. Would be exactly what the doctor ordered to replace Danault (ironically, both are very good friends from a while back).

The Seattle Kraken selected defenseman and Calgary Flames captain Mark Giordano in the expansion draft, reports TSN's Salim Nadim Valji.
Seattle's picks were due by 10 a.m. ET.
