I worked for Circuit City for 5 years. Three things killed Circuit City, getting out of appliance business, firing all their commissioned salespeople. and selling Carmax. Thankfully I got out about 3 years before the went belly up but it was sad to see a bunch of people I cared for lose their jobs.
