Maybe a dumb question, but for those that have them, are they generally pretty quiet pressings? I feel like I’ve seen a lot of anecdotes about noisy small batch despite the fancy vinyl compound.

I've bought two, Coltrane and Eastern Sounds. Neither were noticeably quieter on my system. I received a replacement for Eastern Sounds due to surface noise.

Tone Poets usually have less surface noise, in my experience.

Many other rave about the sound quality. I may have just received a defective one or my $350 elliptical stylus is just mediocre.

I think it's the same pure vinyl stuff mofi uses for the one steps.

I know if you put a black light on it, the vinyl is translucent.

Yea--supposedly Craft, Impex and MoFi all have different names for it but it's the same formulation from Neotech
