Listening to this again now. It's a good sounding record (and still a heck of a set of songs) with good, but not extraordinary sonics. Paper sleeved, okay pressing, benefits from turning the volume up a bit and not caring. I'll admit it makes me curious about the anniversary edition
and mindful that I need to clean the record...Caveat: I'm coming off of listening to really well recorded jazz so a little unfair

I’ve got the new remastered Girlysound box and it’s a delight. The 2018 version isn’t bad, though I haven’t done a shootout head to head. I think it just got reduced in price because the new 2xLP remaster exists now and since it’s been out a bit it’s price is settling and pushing the older one down.Listening to this again now.
