I will still vote in every election like I always do but I don’t think I ever expected my vote to matter to the greater good again.

This is the part of all this that I’m worried about. Globally, governments are all scared/disinclined to control and tax the big companies, and as a result we all get poorer. The right can blame other people while helping out the corporations, and the rest don’t really have a solution, or a way for that solution to cut through the rhetoric.

I left years ago too, but I miss it. There's nothing quite like it online and I loved how fast it was and how often I interacted with people I never would get to otherwise. But I left as soon as Musk bought it. No need to support that ass hat.
