That would bring me nightmares.
Quick story - I was crashing on my girlfriend's parents couch for a couple months while I was, umm, between residences. They watched a VHS tape of either Dirty Dancing or Lethal Weapon nearly every single night. Their TV room had the couch that was my bedroom so I'd basically sit and watch and wait. I can't tell you how many times I had to watch Dirty Dancing, but it was at least 20 in a short time frame.
It sounds like you had the time of your life.
