Talking U2 with you too.

I'll be picking it up tomorrow and will give it a spin at some point over the weekend. There's one proper discog review up saying it's pretty much fantastic and hoping for the best after my last "most wanted album debacle" (Kid A Mnesia).
Picked it up today (black standard pressing). Sounds awesome, a bit bass heavy but not to the point where everything else suffers. Quiet and no issues. Altogether a great pressing and listening to it, I had forgotten how great of an album it was. My only nitpick is that I kind of wish it was gatefold.

I took the kids to see Sing 2 this afternoon. Lots of U2 songs and I actually kind of liked the new song as a closer for the movie.

Agreed! I loved the movie. I dislike the song and don't think it stands well on it's own. I'd never go to Spotify and play it...But in the context of the movie, and how it wraps the movie up, I think it was a great fit and actually enjoyed it

So who else is in for the limited edition, w/ alternate art, All That You Can't Leave Behind (Limited to 100 copies)... for $2,500.

If this is genuine (announcer 1/4 !)

It confirms that U2 are really out of creative ideas ..the acoustic album , along with the covers album, the true admission of defeat
for sure the covers album is def coming soon, depend on it

gonna be a bunch of BS promo bullshit too -- "oh yeah we've always been passionate about all this music, and always wanted to cover a bunch of sun records singles and patti smith songs"

They've already done that.
