There is now Acorn TV content available in my AMC+ subscription through AppleTV. What should I watch first?
I enjoyed Mystery Road but have not watch MR: Origin. Steeltown Murders was enjoyable but did not set the world on fire. Some of the Welsh accents are pretty bad (looking at you Phil)View attachment 210650

They say they are only doing 4 seasons. Probably will just wait until it is done and watch it them. Got about half way through the first season and just got very bored.Yep - one massive tease! Only two years to wait !!

I was hate watching S1 by the end and almost didn't start S2 but I will admit that it was a huge step up in quality. They say they are only doing 4 seasons. Probably will just wait until it is done and watch it them. Got about half way through the first season and just got very bored.
Season 1 is waaaay better than 2. The pacing and writing are a mess this season.I was hate watching S1 by the end and almost didn't start S2 but I will admit that it was a huge step up in quality.
Oh I disagree completely, at least for the first half of S2. The last couple of episodes were a slog, however, I'll give you that.Season 1 is waaaay better than 2. The pacing and writing are a mess this season.
I disagree, season one was basically all prologue with multiple actors playing the same role. The whole thing felt disjointed. The saving grace of the first season was Paddy Considine’s Shakespearean performance as King Viserys.Season 1 is waaaay better than 2. The pacing and writing are a mess this season.
Idk, maybe it was the fresh dynamic of season 1, but I was really invested all the way through. It helped that all of the actors were great, including Consadine. It had a narrative weight that felt similar to Thrones at its peak.I disagree, season one was basically all prologue with multiple actors playing the same role. The whole thing felt disjointed. Season 2, was much better narratively, it dived into the actual story. The biggest issue I had with season 2 was them basically keeping Mat Smith’s Daemon cooped up in Harrenhal for almost the entire season.
"This place will have you howling at the moon"Daemon cooped up in Harrenhal
"This place will have you howling at the moon"
Well then I suppose you'd enjoy Harrenhal right from day one.But what if I already howl at the full moon?
Dragon battles are cool.Funny thing is that none of these comments make me want to watch it
Those first three Ken Burns docs; The Civil War, Baseball, and Jazz are all masterpieces.7 episodes into Ken Burns' collosal, I think 22 hr Baseball documentary series. What a wonderful Summer watch. It's more than you could ever want or care to know, but the vibes are great.
