The football thread RenegadeMonster is looking for: NFL talk

George Pickens was incredibly frustrating to watch tonight. Dudes gotta catch some of those moon balls. Those are The Steelers best equalizer with the offense. If Russ can’t hit deep balls because they keep bouncing off Picken hands they might as well be playing Fields.
I was hoping they'd start starting Fields again to mix things up several weeks ago. Alas, the winning season had already been attained, and the coaching staff already on vacay.

Am I crazy or is it insanely disrespectful for the Titans to keep wearing their Oilers throwbacks against Houston? Makes me really hate a franchise I was indifferent about.
I was thinking the same thing. The Oilers mean more to Houston than to anyone in Tennessee. I know they played a couple seasons as the Tennessee Oilers but I think the franchise name and color should belong to the City and the fans not the franchise. If OKC ever broke out Super Sonics throwbacks Seattle would riot and that doesn’t even account for if they were playing against a new Seattle based franchise.

Hopefully The Bud Adams family eventually sells the team and their is some sort of retconned history where the Oilers history could move back to Houston and the Texans could rock some Oilers throwbacks where they belong.

I just checked Tankathon, looks like Tennessee, Cleveland, and Giants all finished with 3 wins. Right now they have The Titans with #1 overall. Would Shedeur Sanders wanna play for them?

Can't be upset, they dug the hole for themselves.

The one thing that I am hoping to come out of this regular season is praying on bended knee that Ja'Marr Chase keeps his 2024 WR triple crown. It might not ever happen again, and it will provide solace to this season. Please so help me...

Chiefs point differential was already one of the worst ever with their # of wins and losing 0-38 just makes it even funnier. Even if it's an obvious throw. They really didn't want the Bengals.

Only 15-2 NFL team with no 30 point win and a shut out in history.

I feel like they are gonna get stomped at some point this post season. Like it might not be until the AFC Championship or Super Bowl but it’s gonna happen.

As a Niner fan, this year's playoffs are going to be weird to watch from the outside looking in. I'm looking for fun games and would be ok with any of the following teams in the Super Bowl:

NFC:
Commanders
Vikings
Bucs
Packers
Rams

AFC:
Bills
Ravens
Chargers
Broncos
Steelers
Texans

So you're welcome for the Chiefs vs Lions match up.
