I mean “blinding lights” is the the biggest song in Spotify/billboard history so that hit alone can carry him a bit. Overall I think he has enough hits and good songs to justify a stadium tour

My thing is she released two albums, her first two, that were both well loved and popular and then she released 9 other albums that were not really either of those things. I like Alicia Keys as a person but this award feels very superfluous.

Yeah, I just think about the way some artists who have had to cancel tours lately because they were selling poorly. Probably depends on the ticket prices.

Two of her biggest hits came out after those first two albums. And she really hasn’t put out a bad album yet. Does she deserve this specific made up award? Maybe or maybe not but she is an incredible artist who deserves more respect
