The Return of the Challenge Thread - December 2019

Day 17: That new record smell.

I've had this for about a week, but just opened it up. This is the one BFRSD I got off the @Plaid Room / Colemine website.

Day 16 - Metal Monday.
Play some metal. \m/

Metal is a genre I'm very much lacking in. I do have one that comes to mind.. But I may or may not be saving it for later in this contest.. ;)

So while this may not entirely apply, I will say this band is known for their Black Metal endeavours.. This album has more of an Electronic/Trip-Hop sound to it though. A great listen however! Sorry for cop-out on this one!

Ulver - Perdition City (Music To An Interior Film)

Have you heard The Assassination of Julius Caesar? It’s basically a lost Depeche Mode record- it’s pretty great

Day 18 - parents

Henryk Gorecki - Symphony No 3

My Dad played classical music *all* the time so I don't have the easiest of relationships to it. But what I like, I really like. I actually owe this one more to my Mum who became something of a Classic FM gal. It's a seriously beautiful and sad record.
