The Super Thread - All Things Marvel/DC/Etc

Happy to see Fables getting a new run. On a read through of the original series now, and picked up issue 151 for when I've completed it. Glad to see they were able to get Mark Buckingham back for the art on it, that was a big part of the original draw for me for the series.

Woah! I didn't know this was happening. I was just contemplating selling or gifting all my Fables stuff, now I might have to reconsider...

Its a 12 issue series. Plus Bill recently did a Bigby & Batman limited series that I've been meaning to read too. I've got a box full of fables stuff that I had to sort through for my reread. My favorite are the one pagers they would hand out at SDCC to everyone that went to the Fables panel. Like this one that foreshadows the second half of the run:

Just watched Eternals. Not as terrible as everyone said. Could have been better, but it was entertaining. More so than Morbius for damn sure.

I like the space stuff, so I kinda hope it gets a sequel because that could be better. Also the valet got the best lines.

30 minutes shorter probably would've done wonders - especially if that reduction gave us less Jolie and less Robb Stark. But yeah, all in all nowhere near as terrible as many have said.

Also, Brian Tyree Henry was/is fantastic. I'd love to see more of him.

Gonna have to re-watch it. And stay awake this time. No interest in watching Morbius for sure, I appreciate the fact that others took the fall for me there.

Finally got around to watching Batman, thought it was a little long, but really enjoyable. The fighting style was brutal like you'd want batman to be, and appreciate the fact that it brought back Batman's detective side too.

Even as a certified Eternals hater™, I agree that BTH is great. I've been a fan since I first saw him in Atlanta and his character was the only Eternal I actually liked (though probably more due to his performance than the writing). I wouldn't be mad if he popped up in more MCU stuff.

I really liked the first episode of Ms Marvel, Iman Vellani is perfect for it. Still going to need to get used to the new powers but I'm interested in the back story they're setting up for them. I hope we still see Lockjaw somehow. Really looking forward to watching the rest and I already wish this was getting a few more episodes.

Yeah I didn’t mind it either…totally different direction for MCU…excited to see what happens

We loved it. My wife commented that it felt like a live action version of Into The Spiderverse.
