Steve Burns (the original Steve from Blues Clues) released an album a good number of years ago backed by Steven Drozd of the Flaming Lips, and ended up doing some shows w/ Starlight Mints as his backing band. Anyway, I went to see one of those shows at a small local club and the number of moms hitting on Steve was pretty high. Hopefully the Aussies were a little more restrained.View attachment 219382
@Nee Lewman one for you - the guy in the red shirt is the guy that does the voice of Bluey’s dad!
Custard with The Fauves supporting. Unfortunately it was a total sweat box in the venue, so we bailed early.

Soulshine at MSG last night was unbelievably great. We had fabulous side stage seats. First time seeing Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks and they did not disappoint. Legendary lineup - so many great collabs.

Not recent, by any stretch of the imagination, but not sure where else to post (do we need a thread for shows of the distant past?).
In any case, throwback to the time - 20 years ago today - I saw Arcade Fire open up for The Weakerthans at a small venue in Portland.
I was never a huge Arcade Fire fan, but this remains one of the most memorable shows I have ever been to. Funeral had dropped less than two months prior. The buzz was building and they literally took that room by storm. Epic show.

I'd be willing to help resurrect it, guessing @Matt M @Yer Ol' Uncle D and others could add to the liveliness.I tried to start a "concert memories" thread back when the board started, but it went nowhere.
8 years ago today for me. Went for Band of Horses, came out fans of both Local Natives and Glass Animals.

Done!Since we've got the Upcoming/Recent Shows thread for recent shows, wanted to start a separate thread to talk favorite concert memories.
First shows? Favorite Shows? Worst Shows? Weirdest Shows? Lets hear your stories and see your pictures.
First show- Jackson 5 Victory Tour, Dodger Stadium 1986. Still remember the feel of the bass spreading across the field.
