I think this has to be their best anthology yet… some classics, some crate diggers, a mix of genres. This will be my first Anthology purchase.
No but you could try to message CS if you bought an anthology in the past. Paulie did say that former purchasers should get a code stillI don't suppose any of the old anthology codes work/are available?
I’m keeping an eye on it, still 668 left. Will someone ping me if they look like selling out?
i should have waited but got trigger happy and bought it on day of announcement haha.Swap credits in account overnight so I grabbed the Cadet anthology
I’m sure you can contact them and get the credits retroactively appliedi should have waited but got trigger happy and bought it on day of announcement haha.
not a bad idea...but i'm also buying the Otis restock for my brother so...it's a wash! haha.I’m sure you can contact them and get the credits retroactively applied
I do think the price is high for this. 8 LPs for $350 is steep. I get that these are probably all VMP Classics equivalents, so I would say $250-299 would have been the sweet spot for this. For those keeping track, still 607 Cadet boxes in stock. Expecting that number to drop a bit in the next few days, but still a healthy amount.
Plus shipping, plus possible duties for international customers. Interested in this but it's super-steep. Like well over $50 USD per record steep.I do think the price is high for this. 8 LPs for $350 is steep. Yeah I think it's about 13% for tax purposes if you don't get hit with the insane and criminal "brokerage fees" through the courier services.I don't know if any Canadians are curious about duties on Anthologies, but Vanguard got hit with $52 in duties through CP.
Thankfully they didn't decide to complete shipping through DHL, UPS or FedEx, they're really scummy about duty fees.
FedEx is the worst as they'll just deliver your package then bill you later. I didn't even realize I got hit with about $75 on duties on two single orders from Acoustic Sounds until they sent a threatening letter telling me they were going to send my bill to collections unless I paid asap (I don't check the mail anymore since I get all my bills online and my mailbox is simply a vehicle for junk mail). DHL (and I believe UPS) send me the invoice at least to pay online before I receive the shipment.Yeah I think it's about 13% for tax purposes if you don't get hit with the insane and criminal "brokerage fees" through the courier services.
Sad to hear. I think Cadet will be my last Anthology.I don't know if any Canadians are curious about duties on Anthologies, but Vanguard got hit with $52 in duties through CP.

Yeah, I had a feeling I was going to since I'm getting hit with duties on EVERYTHING now coming from the US. It went from pretty rare to getting hit without fail. At least this one I was fully expecting. I think I've paid about $300 in duties in the past few months and I've been banned from ordering anything from the States for the rest of the year. Even if I didn't have this restriction it just isn't worth it anymore.Sad to hear. I think Cadet will be my last Anthology.
I don't know if I love Dolly enough to splurge on a box set, but that's awesome they're doing this.Is this a new anthology?
