Good choice! Hopefully you don't have to play replacement roulette, I'm waiting on my 4th replacement to arrive. Its a bummer cause its my fave soul pick in a long time, probably since Bill Withers!

VMP has had its ups and downs over the years, but one area they definitely deserve a lot of credit for is transparency on how they source and cut their releases. This should be a great one and pressed at RTI to boot.

I stand corrected. I just received my shipping notice and it appears they are sending a replacement jacket only. I am totally fine with this. It’s just not something that they’ve never done before (for me) and VMP CS never mentioned it would be the jacket only in their reply to me.

I’ve had this happen but usually just for essentials.

Yeah they always just send jackets if the only damage is to the jacket. If your LP is messed up they send you a whole new copy, jacket and all

Well, not always. I’ve received several full replacements for jacket only damage. I’m glad they’ve made the change though I never necessarily wanted multiples, and this would seemingly be a much more cost effective approach on their end.

Oh that's interesting. I never ever have gotten just a record from them (unless you count when they sent everyone a disc 2 of ATLiens without asking). I have gotten a lot of jackets though by themselves.

Same here. I ordered Aretha - Spirit in the Dark and The Meters - Fire on the Bayou and my box had a massive dent in it causing some pretty bad jacket damage (huge indentation in the sleeves on both). I even told them that the records themselves were fine but they sent me complete replacement copies. This was just a few months ago.
