Vinyl Me Please Essentials

Maybe you’re right and this will sell out. In which case the predictions for Bone Machine are against what works for the company. The 90s albums will be Simply Red - Stars and Hootie & The Blowfish - Cracked Rear View. Both of which are fine btw but nothing to set my pulse racing

Other random guesses Skunk Anansie - The Verve (an earlier release not Urban Hymns) Wu Tang and randomly Shed Seven 😊

Aargh ..10/10 for slipping in a Shed 7 reference ......still endlessly touring

My wife was a big fan when she was in Uni (mid 90s) and also a friend. So as a result I’ve actually seen them live - 2018 Castlefield Bowl Mcr. Supported byReverend and the makers if I recall correctly.

mmmmm, in regards to paying full price, that would depend honestly on what the pressing details for this VMP exclusive are! If Continuum has impressive remastering details and is like 45RPM too, then I guess I might be inclined to pay the full price 💰

But yeah, getting this record for free definitely makes it easier to keep! I mean, I could swap it for something else, but I'd rather this John Mayer album than anything in the VMP store I haven't purchased (except for the Whitney Houston boxset)!

Happy that I'll have this John Mayer album and can't to spin the VMP David Gray exclusive, which is on the way to me! They're both a bit challenging listens for me personally but I genuinely do enjoy the music on them both for the most part! :D

David Gray being White Ladder I assume. Surprised that is a struggle for u - I know that album very well and always fell into the very easy listening category for me.

Did anyone mention The Toasters, Skankin’ Pickle or The Scofflaws?
Mike Park is still running Asian Man Records out of his parents garage!

I booked Skankin' Pickle at the bar I worked at in college just based on the name alone. I wasn't disappointed. This was in Riverside, CA - No Doubt used to get themselves added as an opening band all the time as well, back in their ska days.
