Just got an email saying i'm not getting my Outkast. Mind you, I have been a Rap and Hip-Hop member since nearly the beginning. If anyone should be first serve it should be those like me. I am astounded and pretty darn grumpy.

Got the same email. Sent a pissed off response back as being an active subscriber to the rap/hiphop track.

I swear they are fulfilling new members who just signed up for this to be on great terms with them rather than us who are already hurt and can take more punches.

So to sum up the month. I’m about to receive my 4th NTR. I’m gonna get repress of OutKast 2 months late. And I’m a 50/50 shot to get the Weyes Blood I ordered the moment it went live in early February. Yikes.

How do you oversell a release?!? How is there not a freeze that goes into effect the moment that cap is hit?? I honestly do not understand. If your initial pressing is 5500 and you’re allowing 5000 to subscribe why are more allowed to select RHH as a track??? You should be able to monitor the demand and then determine if an additional pressing is warranted based on how quickly the track fills up and the amount of unique unsuccessful attempts there are to add it.

Maybe it's because running a business isn't my forte so obviously I'm just naive and probably don't know what I'm talking about, but this whole "sell more copies of a thing than you have in stock" business model seems to have... some issues

They have proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that they are unable to avoid overselling and uninterested in solving the problem.

I remember the first time I dabbled in the extra tracks was Goodie Mob before finally taking the plunge. I specifically remember there being a time where I added, removed, and then attempted to add again and it put me on a waiting list because the track was full. Why did that go away? How have they regressed?

I’ve had essentials and RHH since they started and got that same email today. Not happy at all but I’m too relaxed to let it upset more.

I get the feeling I'm in the same boat, but I haven't gotten an email yet. I think I might have accidentally unsubscribed from their emails at some point.

I'm sorry for all of you who aren't getting it in June. It's weird, I removed R&HH in the aftermath of the forum closing but re-added it for OutKast, and it seems I'm set to receive it.

Having been part of those whose Nat Turner Rebellion records were delayed, I feel you. VMP NEEDS to implement a system to prevent overselling. From there, more can be pressed for those who want it later.

Once again, I'm glad June is slated to be my last month for a while.
