Vinyl Me Please Rap & Hip Hop

I am in! I haven't been giving enough attention to hip-hop recently so I would be happy to have some of you curating great records. As @gaporter said the record must be available on vinyl (worldwide, please keep in mind that some of us are not in the US and shipping might be a deal breaker when purchasing one single record from the US) and priced around $25 to $30. The N&G AotM threads are working pretty well and I am sure a N&G HH AotM would work well too.

Please don't forget to @ staff members if you want to move forward with this NG HH AotM thread.

Also just came on here to quickly say that if you don't want to set up your own AoTM we’d love for you to come and join ours. Whilst the N&G AoTM is running well it’d be nice to have a range of artists more diverse backgrounds and some Rap and Hip Hop would definitely fit that bill. It’d also be nice to get more of the community engaged in the threads every month. Come shout me up in the AoTM organisation thread of you’re interested.

I have been slowly doing that as I listen to albums. Before they go back on the shelf they get a new Mo-fi inner and an invest in vinyl outter. I just purchased 150 about a month ago and are already on my last 50. It feels good though, part of the ritual of listening.

This is me, as well. Except when it shows up on the doorstep it goes in a separate pile. Once I've listened to it and there's no issues, it gets a MOFI inner sleeve and a Vinyl Storage Solutions outer. I like the Vinyl Storage Solutions because they make it really easy to slide records in and out of the sleeve, since they are stored in a separate pocket behind the jacket. Although, they do take up more room on a shelf since it is essentially doubling the width of the record.

what wu tang album should i buy for my "add on" to the N+G sub.. i already bought enter 36 chambers for last month and i want to do something a bit more focused and singular

Masta Killa's No Said Date is fantastic and often overlooked. TBH, @TenderLovingKiller® answer of Liquid Swords is the correct answer though (my favorite solo Wu album - albeit not by my favorite solo Wu MC)

And if you mean proper group album - Forever (logical next step as chronological) or The W. Iron Flag and 8 Diagrams are still great but those first 3 are their best as a group effort.

Interesting takes on a GFK R&HH ROTM on here below...probably most likely some of yall with different usernames but interesting nonetheless

You know what, i think this is the main reason we have not received any more clues. They realized that we're already pissed off and if they tell us it's not even GFK it will only piss us off even more lol. You'd think they would just announce it to make people keep their sub. I would renew for 1 month if it was GFK. If it's not it better be some really dope shit to be worth the money.

Can you link me to this sub that you speak of??
It’s a reference to the N&G ROTM thread...

the “add on” was based on the talk we have had of starting a similar type thread primarily focused on Hip-Hop.
