Well, get ready for one hell of a fun ride buddy because VMP are going to announce the next 3 Essentials ROTM’s! The August and September Essentials will be 90’s albums, and according to Storf, they are/some of the best 90’s albums! Who knows what we will get!? Maybe we will get Company Flow’s Funcrusher Plus, Raekwon’s Only Built For Cuban Linx, A Tribe Called Quest’s Low End Theory or OutKast’s Atliens or something like My Bloody Valentine’s Loveless, Nuetral Milk Hotel’s In The Aeroplane Over The Sea or PJ Harvey’s Rid Of Me! 👀🎁💎👀🎁💎👀🎁💎

So buckle up and get excited! I have a feeling we will be getting two magnificent picks, and at least one of them being my favourite Essentials ROTM yet! 😇😍🙏

Even though John Mayer is the July Essentials ROTM, the July Rap & Hip-Hop and Classics ROTM’s are both 10/10 and make up for it in my opinion! 🔥💯🤛

Also, I know it’s not good to eat unhealthy food 🍫🍰🍟🍔🍕🌭 to make you feel better, but it would be so good knowing you have your comforting, mouth-watering, delicious, Philly cheesesteaks to keep you feeling 💯!

Yeah. And it's definitely fucked. And that kind of relates to the entire point of trying to survive, while trying to be even somewhat socially conscious. I have a kid to take care of and do what I can, but I obviously spend money on records and things like that. On a side note, I will say that I believe art and music are important things in his development, though. But, if you don't have the financial luxury of buying whatever you want, you might be buying clothes for your kids made by other kids. And, if you can only afford things like fast food, you might be paying into systems supported by workers making slave wages. People are struggling and don't necessarily want to support the Walmarts and Amazons of the world that squeeze out the smaller companies that can't compete, but you can't blame them for taking care of their own families. Obviously, the system should be on trial, because it's orchestrated that way and forces people to finance their own oppression. I'm not down with shaming the poor and powerless that are led to support the big and powerful, because they are victims of this structure themselves. But fuck Jeff Bezos and the Waltons.

I know dead c has me on ignore, so he may not see this but I would like to address this peaceful because we may be on the same page not even realize it.

I guess I would like to get some other opinions if I offended anyone else because maybe my situation is different then others.

I live in a 70+ percent Black neighborhood. When I suggested businesses being vandalized by looters I’m not talking about Target or Home Depot. My entire avenue is almost entirely minority owned stores. My barbershop, My grocery store, My Sneakers shop and general store all minority owned all vandalized, broken windows, fires, looting. All the windows are boarded up With signs that say things like is this justice ? Why us? or this is so wrong. I’m not a dude from the burbs,

These people whose shops were destroyed were family, friends and neighbors. All black and brown However if you go further up to to the white areas the hair cutlery and Whole Foods are fine. Like nothing ever happened

I was told I was victim blaming and I really don’t understand what that term means and if it ‘s even a bad thing in my situation.

Like I said I’m coming in peace and extending an olive branch to Dead C We May agree on some things but he may have the wrong impression of where I’m coming from. if he sees this. I have some stories I’d like to share and this probably isn’t the right place for them.
 
The VMP essentials and exclusives threads have really be on a ride these past couple of days 😂. Does the N&G ROTM thread get like this as well? They always pop in here making their thread sound like a land of sunflowers and daisies.
