Vinyl Me Please (store, exclusives, swaps, etc)

Yep available directly from the label for $23 and I am sure you can probably find a coupon code for Polyvinyl.

Exactly. Black/white mix vinyl, deluxe gatefold jacket, and 20-page 12"x12" lyric and photo booklet – all for $23.
If something else catches your eye, $50 gets you to free shipping and YEARENDS5 gets you $5 off ($50 or more). They are also having a sale, with quite a few non-Polyvinyl releases, including Waxahatchee's St. Cloud for under $20.

Yeah, that nuts especially since this is a Polyvinyl release meaning it will eventually be repressed in almost every color imaginable and likely cost ya $24 to $28 depending.
I generally think unless an album is hard to find or OOP, it is not in need of a repressing. The only one of the first four that is hard to find is Evenings so that should have been the pick.

Newbury still has this one in stock for $25.99 - that said, could be the same variant as Polyvinyl. Looks as though Newbury has their own exclusive for $39.99. VMP and Newbury seemingly vying for who can charge more for exclusive releases of widely available albums.

Right! I still have my original 2012 pressing on white vinyl that I probably paid $18 for back in 2012. I actually listened to it this past Wednesday (right before I spun Wowee Zowee). It’s an excellent album and more power to em if people are will to pay damn near $40 bucks for it.

Damn, that price increase really fucked with reddit. Tons of people complaining at how overpriced this shit is instead of gushing at the colour and throwing money at them. The spell may be broken.
Idk I remember when they raised prices a couple of years ago Reddit was pissed. But eventually things went back to the normal gushing and fawning over everything.

But maybe this was a bridge too far even for Reddit? We’ll see.

Also comes with airheads.

I think it's starting to pile up where the community is starting to get really tired. It started shifting (again) recently with TBTs (only a handful of the popular titles available that went within seconds), and then a price increase, and now a pretty "meh" list of VMP10 represses, with the first one being priced far above what you'd pay elsewhere. I'm sure there will still be a bunch of die hard fanboys (and girls), but it feels kind of like the tide is shifting. Also doesn't help that a lot of reddit is pretty down on this quarter.

You're right, we'll see how it goes...but right now it looks like they're running low on goodwill.

I think also you have the Discord where a good portion of the boosters will just live which leaves less on sites like Reddit. I truly think this is the time the bubble goes pop. Prices are absolutely bonkers now even for wide release stuff, no one has any money, and corporations are making record profits (pun intended). I think a lot of people are going to bail on it as a hobby.

Yeah, I don't think I'm going to bail altogether, but I'm definitely going to be more selective with my purchases. I just ordered the Blur 13 restock today ONLY due to free shipping at $39, but if I had to pay for shipping I would have probably passed. Dead Dog put up a link to Basement Jaxx's Rooty they were supposed to get in like October at I believe it was $36, and I put it on my wishlist only to have it come in stock today for $46. That $10 more was just enough to make me put the brakes on ordering.

With VMP I'm altogether priced out, unless it's a Gravediggaz type pick. Going to put that money spent on Classics into Tone Poet or equivalent albums. It's much better value for me.
