Oh yeah, those tickets by the way are $25 a pop for early entry, $6 for GA on Saturday and FREE on Sunday.

VMPs generosity knows absolutely no bounds, but if I were to put a price on it, it would be like a < $50 cost to them. Those tickets were most definitely free for them. Just whatever "cost" is for the records.

Read up a bit on this thread, and it feels pretty shocking to think that I started my sub in 2017 because I thought it was good value of money. My 3 month international sub was about 110 bucks, which after exchange rates and free shipping even wasn’t that much of a mark up from what I paid at the local store. Most store items were actually a lot cheaper than my local store. I could throw the dice on a Rising artist I never heard of or just enjoy the curation for what it was (sometimes great, sometimes not. But always at least interesting). Today I'm not even contemplating rejoining at about 60-70 bucks per record after VAT and international shipping, which I experienced the hard way when I rejoined for Iris DeMent last year. That's more than twice what I pay at my local store. I feel saddened by this as I really enjoyed VMP way back when, but the sub I joined simply isn't there anymore..

Moon Safari was from the Pitchfork top 100 of the 90s list, there is supposed to be one more Essentials pick from that list but it got bumped to later this year. The "crazy" pick ended up being Kacey Musgraves.

Sadly think this coupon is tied to your account and subscription. But maybe I’m wrong! Hoping someone can use it. Good coupon for the anthologies if somebody wanted one. Think it works on Cadet too.
