A price hike would guarantee me not renewing. They are at the upper end of what I am willing to shell for a regularly priced item. Honestly, this would be fine… it’s not like I need more records.

they say no price hike is planned, but places always say that. i believe they just said the bonus record deal will be available to people re-subbing in January as well but will check and circle back. edit: they said today on discord: "We are allowing renewals in January to select bonus records "
that $18/album price takes into account the 8 free bonus records for signing up for a year using the referral. without it the price goes up quite a bit.

Yeah, it's {($435 - $80) + ~$20 in tax}/20 for about $18. There are a few records I really want (Interpol's Bright Lights, Shape of Jazz to Come, the Kacey Musgraves that doesn't sound like shit, etc) that make it worth considering just subbing for the year.

yes as of now they are saying they will also let the promo go until January but things may be picked over by then if they aren't already. they also said the $80 promo was meant to last or a bit but also subject to change.

Yes, although it's not known how long this referral promotion will go on for. I believe it's "currently no end date in mind" so I would expect it to still be around when you decide to renew in December.

Also if you receive $80 as a referrer, you can email CS to convert it to store credit if you’d like. Or you can use it on add-on tracks if you’re a current member. If you’re not a current member you should be able to rejoin using someone else’s referral code, get $80 off plus whatever referral credits from people clicking on your link to bring your own price down.
