And in the process they’ll normalise the price point so we’re all forced into it. Not unlike what’s happened with the general market. It used to be about listening to good tunes on a less than perfect (or efficient) medium. Now it seems like it’s become some fetishists wet dream with an internet full of fappers fapping madly over the next limited colour press while the old school listeners get priced out the market or have to buy bigger shelves to accommodate the additional shit that’s being shoved in a record box.
You mean the cardboard oasis binoculars in my Knebworth box set or the “roll with with it” Rizzla’s in my Morning Glory box set aren’t totally useful additions...
