Yeah my Back to Back clears this VMP pressing, not to mention one of the LPs has the typical GZ edge warp, not even going to bother asking for another copy to be sent out. Just gonna eat this L with my plate of thanksgiving leftovers

There really isn’t anything that this press does better than the LITA or B2B pressings… underwhelming jacket, mastering is quiet so you have to crank it, the bass in the mix is just there, it makes itself heard but it doesn’t really add anything to the listening experience. Doesn’t really knock, just pushes everything else to the back. I actually don’t hate the color though I guess, but I won’t be holding onto this

That's worse than I imagined from your first review 😂 We gambled with the herpe that is VMP and lost. @Nee Lewman, wise with age or he forgot to preorder it on time (also possibly due to age), avoided the herpe. I've learned from his example/mistake too late and it upsets me that I paid $50 (of credit) for something I probably won't keep.

I thought long and hard about it and decided to leave it. Something really did tell me not to bother.
 
Took a punt with some remaining credit I had left for the mystery anthology 2 pack and wound up with Bar-Kays “Soul Finger” and Odetta “My Eyes Have Seen”.

I’ve somehow Frankenstein’d my way to 6 of the 8 in the Stax set.

Also, bless to VMP for shipping that separately from the “bundled” ROTM shipment. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
