BUT IT WASNT THEIR PLANT. Lol fucking clowns.the quality is excellent at that plant. but VMP was never going to be able to scale up to press every ROTM and store drop there. They said at most they were gonna do classics and MAYBE one other track well down the line. they were not going to press records for other companies there and were still going to use GZ or other plants to press essentials and other tracks/drops. and the plant is great now because they don't have the stress of meeting monthly deadlines, can do proper quality control, etc.
i agree that if the plant was set up well and run correctly, it would have been a great asset for them. but i don't think VMP would have done as good a job running it as intended.
The board has 6 or 8 people I think (or had?) and 11 full time employees. it is fucked up.
