Vinyl Me Please (store, exclusives, swaps, etc)

Used my credit to pick up some test pressings. Anthology felt like the safest bet for me, since they said they weren't going to ruin anyone's day by including the Comedy Anthology (lol) and there are very few other misses in those box sets. And if I end up getting dupes from something like the Cadet or Herbie sets? Eh, those are still nifty novelties.

I also went for a single Exclusive test pressing, which is definitely a lot riskier but eh, you never know.

It should be done pretty quickly. Mine was. I think they said within 30 days in case everybody cancelled subscriptions at once and wanted refunds 😬

not really sure what the hassle is. i guess if you are checking every day to see if a refund is processed, but you've already requested it.

i think more people have been hesitant to cancel stuff that they have waited a year on because some of the stuff like BN and Grateful Dead box are now finally shipping. if you ordered with a 40% discount code, might be worth sticking around on some of those.

the bigger annoyance is there stupid AI not understanding stuff and cancelling the wrong items...

You create a scenario where you have to scour the internet for their communications practices and eventually maybe end up on the discord where there are people having to go to varying lengths to get refunds processed/processed correctly… hassle.

you do? you email and they get back to you. their response times have been pretty quick lately.

there was that one dude on discord who spent like a week looking up how to see if a company has gone bankrupt in colorado, then paid to have access to the system where you can do that, only to find out that.....VMP is not in fact bankrupt. lol

What swung it for me was when I was streaming them all to see how much I still wanted them and how much I would play them… only to realise at that moment that I actually have access to listen to them whenever I want anyway so don’t need to run the risk of VMP going down the toilet snd taking my cash/ credit with them. Didn’t get a discount and aside from Troussant and Mishima they’d only get a passing spin here and there. So now in addition to my cash refund I’ve $130 of VMP bucks to piss up the wall on the slop they hold back for us Gaijin.
