From what I see, it’s only affected two people. “Affected” seems weird. Benefited?

But then again I’m only intermittently munching on my popcorn.

I once got a record I didn’t order from a company in a box (OOP and high second market value) but it was just one. To be fair, they ended up winning there cause it turned me onto the group and I ended up ordering rest of disco from them.

But this? This is something else.

Just seems really unlikely that everyone it affected went and posted on Reddit about it, doesn't it? Possible, I guess.
 
OMG, like @Joe Mac said, they need someone who is insightful to be hired to help VMP in the awful mess they are in right now.

@Crabbers - I still love VMP, but I am scared I am not going to be receiving a copy of Mobb Deep’s The Infamous! I just hope I get a copy! Also, seeing that person with all that Mobb Deep and me not even having my November box yet made me go 🙄😒

VMP needs to get their shit together with inventory. They need their workers to actually go into the warehouse, and count everything and to see what stock they actually have.

They need to talk to the management there, have a good sit down with all the workers at Saddle Creek, even if it’s for 2 hours, and just show them the website and explain everything etc

And finally, VMP need to hire someone (who has a high reputation/strong experience) to fix the migration issues and to probably look into their system in general so they can change things which will ensure these errors systematically do not happen again.

I just want to know where my November box is because now I’m stating to get worried that it got lost. With the old website, I had a tracking number, but I can’t access it ever since the migration happened 🥺

I don't know that that's the cure. I don't see how sending a bunch of staff who know fuck all about inventory, packaging and dispatch to a third party warehouse to physically count stuff in boxes is going to help. I also don't think that in a company that employing a third party warehousing, stock management and dispatch company was a bad call. They simply don't have the expertise, or probably capital, to set that up from scratch themselves. What they need is a dedicated inventory manager who works between themselves and saddle creek and ensures that the systems are up to scratch and that there is accurate two way recording and reporting. They also need an adult in the room who actually manages the lot of them and makes them do their bloody jobs. They need to send storf on a self-awareness and fact checking course and restrict him to talking just about curation and the creative side. Finally they need to give someone else a kick up the arse and force them online to answer the stuff storf isn't capable of answering and so just bullshits about.

I want to do a spell on the Saddle Creek warehouse inventory stock to fix it, a spell on everyone’s VMP accounts to make it perfect and organised, and a spell on the customer service tickets - a spell that would just automatically find the correct solution! 😇🤷‍♂️🧩
