Yes, totally. You and I agree. I've worked at a large well-ish run corporate entity and had to work every weekend in Dec, no matter what holiday fell on that weekend.

But also, you and I both know that voldemort is not going to execute this properly. "This" being asking/telling their employees to cancel their holidays and then also properly reimbursing them for that.

I wonder if they even pay out for OT or if their message is that they are working for the greater good of the company or there will BE no company come next year. Then they will turn around and line the pockets of all these random angel investors that keep popping up. If all the money goes to Hoss the Boss, American Bulldog Extraordinaire, then I'm good with it.

This is a video that the people from VMP should watch right after a sign that says: "ANSWER YOUR CUSTOMERS' E-MAILS. DO IT.".
 
I posted a picture a while back of me being able to order 1598 copies of Caribou, an album that they only pressed 1000 of. Now members are receiving copies of Fiona, while their order page still reads as unfulfilled, and refunds are supposedly being processed but aren't actually going through. The website and their inventory system and apparently their actual payment system appear so fundamentally broken that I don't think this is something they're going to be able to fix before it takes them out. It doesn't appear that they have any information as to what is going out and to whom. They can't even dispute claims because they don't appear to have even a base knowledge of what the system is doing. I honestly don't think they come back from this.

The story behind it is great too, some I guess high-profile college had a scriptwriting class where you supposed to bring in a 2-5 minute monologue that LaBeouf would read. This may not've been the case as such but I'd heard it as a dude brought in something he'd written at the last minute and LaBeouf put his back into it anyway.
