Sooo... got a shipping notification for Aretha yesterday - still no sign of the other 5 records that were supposed to ship with the December ROTM.
Wrote a message to CS to cancel all my other, unfullfilled orders because of the new customs situation and the current state of VMP altogether. If I won't hear from them within the next two days (which I know is unlikely to happen) I will try the @Murfocakes trick of altering the shipping address and will have my credit card company informed because frankly I do not trust them to get things right within the next months.
Needless to say I cancelled my subsciption right before it would have renewed on 01/01/20.

so i got some of my stuff cancelled. fine , they asked a question back which i answered and gave me more automatic replies... so im probably at the end of the queue again. at least i got some refunds ( that can be reinvested in tone poets. )

The Blue Note Tone Poet Series are outstanding!!!
I’m very happy to hear you are using the refunds from VMP towards that!!!
I’m planning to spend very little on records in 2020 overall. However, I’ll be purchasing every Blue Note Tone Poet release. I’ve got all of them so far and they are an absolute joy to listen to and the pressings are faultless!

How is it that everytime you Mention that you will not spend much on Vinyl next year it´s followed by a Long list, like only all anthologies, only tone poets, only vmp exclusives…The Blue Note Tone Poet Series are outstanding!!!
