Some people, but definitely not most or a majority. Not sure what the issue is of me pointing out that people just need to be patient. ESPECIALLY with how the entire industry is delayed right now, not just VMP.

Maybe you should stop telling people how to feel. Ever think about that? I bought some records that were Christmas gifts. Is it the end of the world that I won’t be receiving them before Christmas? No. Is it highly annoying, considering I paid for these things weeks ago? Yes it is.

PSA: If you don't have proper mailers, don't sell your records online. I once had an OFFICIAL (according to them on discogs) record store send me a record wrapped in an old Home Depot box. Thankfully arrived in OK shape, but at the very least it's unprofessional.

Bet it was packed better than a VMP box lol. Still amazed they haven't moved to proper mailers.

Oh for sure. The #1 spot that should be protected is corners, and VMP's boxes are absolute shite at protecting them. I remember back when they had the all black boxes, which were proper mailers. Never had a problem with those (outside of the black ink getting all over your clothes -- they just can't win tbh).
 
Just got an actual email reply from the first of my two emails to them about damages, and have been told they are very sorry and they have credited my account.

There are no credits on my account.

WAIT.... the credits have appeared. Records... still unnaccounted for.

By the way, does anybody know what the shipping date was supposed to be for the Ann Arbor Blues albums? They seem to have removed the street dates for those on the site.

This is super typical, and not just recently. Even Paul is guilty of this. I dealt with an off the wall issue months ago, promised a credit to make up for the hassle and never received one. Then once I cancelled my membership I bought two albums with the same expected shipping month and got charged twice for shipping, emailed in to see if they could combine shipping. Was told that they’d credit my account $5 to make up for it, never did.
 
So that initial "we're 70% done" email went out 2 days ago now? Is that right? And, I mean, not that we hold them in real high regard for logistics and accuracy, but how hard would it have been to update that to show SOME amount of progress for the batch of us that received it today. JFC. Take two seconds to call down to the warehouse and see what's up. Or, maybe they did: "Hey, Brad. We said 70% on Tuesday. Yeah. Yeah. YES BRAD I KNOW THAT WAS A LIE, but what do you think? 80% now? 30%! FUCK! No, I'll just say 70% again. I know, but they don't know the fucking difference. Fuck 'em, AM I RIGHT, BRAD?! hahahah Oh, by the way, you're working an 18 hour shift on Christmas day. Yep. OKAY BYEEEEEE!"
