Vinyl Me Please (store, exclusives, swaps, etc)

I think there was Stax fatigue with the Floyd, because that’s a great album. For whatever reason, it just didn’t sell.

T.I.’s King was an odd choice - I think Trap Muzik or Urban Legend would have been a better choice as an ROTM. I really like it, but it has sort of a commercial surface level sense to it that the earlier albums happens don’t have. I also had a OG copy in fine shape so I didn’t feel the need to spend $23 on it.

Cosmogramma is a great album, but I think it takes a certain type of listener.

Ivy Sole is the reason I like curation, I enjoyed it and would never have listened to it otherwise.

Phoenix was a “eh” choice - the album is fine and I’d certainly take a copy on the cheap, but not for the monthly price.

Other possibilities would be Rico Nasty, Mavis, Camp Lo, and Experience Unlimited.
Do you think they’ll go for some of the super old ones from way back when? Thinking like Menomena, Glass Animals, Moses Sumney.

Well not that it's VMP's fault but I just found out that my box, which contained lots of goodies including Weyes Blood and Outkast, has been damaged by the post office's "equipment" (I think they ran over it) and if I want I can check with their missing mail department at some unknown time in the future to see if any "loose articles" are found anywhere...

For fucks sake.

Probably a question that's been asked and answered, and I apologize if so. But, does anyone know if you cancel with store credits banked and then re-sub say, a month later, do those credits stick? Or does canceling remove them?

Phoenix- WAP is a great great record. Essential indeed. But is it great curation? I’m not sure about that. Seemed unnecessary.

Ivy Sole was a head scratcher for me from day one. Still think it’s a been there done that record. It’s.....fine?

Mine remained in place. I have $11 left, which is enough to get me to keep paying attention and not enough to buy anything that’s been listed since I cancelled.

I find it hilarious that the Bespoke box that was delivered to my doorstep today (1st time getting one) contained my 4 selections in flawless condition, despite the box having a few holes on the sides and top. Funny, I wish VMP could consistently deliver undamaged product. There was also bubble wrap, which was not in my VMP mailer.

Feist, Denzel Curry, Donald Byrd, and Open Mike Eagle were in my box, If anyone was curious. Wish I picked James Booker instead of OME, but oh well. Might get it as my swap this upcoming month.

All four of my titles from Bespoke had dinged corners and inner sleeve splits. Nothing big enough to bother customer service with, I'll just put the discs in Mofi sleeves and live with the dings. Records seem great though.

My box this month was delivered to the wrong address by a new USPS driver. Outkast and Jamila Woods seem to be gone forever. Again, not VMP's fault, I double checked they sent it to the right address which is a secure mail facility to receive my packages. It shows delivered but the mail facility never received it. One can hope whomever received it will realize it's not theirs and give it back to USPS, but I'm worried they'll just keep it. I started a missing mail request, but doubt USPS will respond since it shows delivered.

Please correct me if I am wrong, but I think I remember Storf said in the beginning of the year that they were doing something with Rosalia's album; I think he winked or something. And then nothing happened.
Did that happen or I'm just imagining it?

I'd like to remind you that if you bought any sale store item within the past 30 days you are elligible to store credit for the discount amount.
I just got another email about the sale and the fine print says: "If you purchased these titles in the last 48 hours, or previously purchased these titles and they haven't yet shipped to you, we can price adjust in the form of store credits"
