Vinyl Me Please (store, exclusives, swaps, etc)

This might be the beginning of the end for VMP, they have to be hemorrhaging money. Losing customers, probably getting a ton of credit card charge-backs, sending out multiple records to people who didn't order them. It's honestly one of the worst mismanagement's I've seen in a while. This combined with the rising prices and other questionable choices they've been making, it's clear they have no clue how to run a business

Agreed. I think perhaps they are also in the process of selling the company or something bigger. There’s no way this kind of gross neglect can last.

Mad props for a Mr. Show reference.

I know everyone says it about their favorite sketch comedy shows but Mr. Show really is/was the best to ever do it. The audition sketch, the pre-taped call-in show, the method acting, rap: the musical.. just so much greatness. Not to mention what the people went onto..

Bob Odenkirk wrote for SNL, Conan and tonnes more as well as being in everything and now being Saul Goodman.

David Cross .. don't even think I have to mention what he's done.

Bill Odenkirk - wrote for Mr. Show before joining The Simpsons and Futurama as one of the head writers.

Scott Aukerman - did a bunch of stuff but is probably most well known now for comedy bang bang or whatever?

Paul F. Thompkins - been in everything and is also the voice of Mr. Peanut Butter

Tom Kenny - been in everything and is THE voice actor of his generation. You name a cartoon, he did the voices.

Mary Lynn Rasjkub - 24, Gail The Snail, and been everything else too.

Tenacious D also got their start via Mr. Show (you can see Kyle and Jack in the audience and Jack in a sketch or two)

Brian Poseihn - all around weirdo who is still around doing stuff.

Tool are also The Ronnies (the tribute band to Ronnie Dobbs)

edit: and I can't believe I left out Dino Stampalamapalampolous... one of the funniest comedy writers ever and maybe more well known as Starburns from Community?

Plus all the supporting characters who have gone onto stuff too..

Kate Bollinger’s EP “I Don’t Wanna Lose” and Sampa The Great’s “The Return” are those two albums in the picture! 💎

Kate Bollinger’s EP is really dreamy, velvety and sweet and dozy and homegrown and just flourishes with charm. It’s a great EP that has an romantic autumn aesthetic, a sweet summer aesthetic but also has a soothing, fresh spring feel! 🍂🍃🥀🌻

Sampa The Great’s album is a political, introspective, funky, jazzy, soulful hip-hop conceptual album that feels righteous and empowering! It’s a really feel-good, celebratory, victorious kind of album! Both releases are comforting in their own sense and have a jazzy neo-soul sound that sounds timeless yet fresh! 👑✊📣🎉

What kind of music do you like BazookaTooth? Are you into neo-soul? Do you like artists like Amy Winehouse, D’Angelo and Erykah Badu? 🤔

I saw Sampa The Great live last year. She was this tiny little thing that came charging onto this huge stage and gave it her all for the entire set. Never seen anything like it, so much energy and she KILLED it.

Yeah, she has so much energy but, it’s all positive, feel-good energy. So everyone’s just vibing and jamming! I’m excited to see her again! She’s my favourite rapper from Australia. She’s the only rapper from Australia right now I’d want to see live actually. I like REMI, but he’s been quiet and I don’t ‘love’ most his music, I just like it. Sampa The Great is something special though! 👌
