Vinyl Me Please (store, exclusives, swaps, etc)

My membership page has also reverted back to showing my February choices (all three tracks, no swaps) with a message saying that my order was successfully processed.

I haven't gotten an email saying my card was charged, but I went into my Paypal account directly and saw I was charged for two add-ons today, no more, no less. They didn't use my $15 in store credit which is slightly disappointing but I'll put that to use sooner or later I'm sure.

Soooo... things seem mostly ok? I still see Bitte Orca and NERD in my order history but at least I wasn't charged for them. At this point the biggest question is what records will actually appear in my box.

Click on the order details and see if the ones they've added are comped at $0 or not

N.E..D is being given to me... as well as El-P.. and they both have a reciept of 23 dollars

the first ever true fuck up i ever got from VMP which is interesting (besides stars where at least i was forgiven for with a fixed LP.. maybe they'll repay us by giving us an extra 23 dollars credit)
 
Well, I somehow made it though the order glitch unscathed. My account/orders pages never showed anything that was incorrect. About 2 weeks ago I had an order pop up in my account for Fly or Die, which I didn’t place because I’d already received it in my January box. I emailed CS as soon as I saw it and they surprisingly replied promptly, unaware of what caused it but switched it to fulfilled and thanking me for the heads up. I received a box yesterday with Floating Points (which I did order) and another copy of Fly or Die. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Mine shows both. I re joined the morning of announcements and Herbie and Nerd are in my orders list. If I resubmit the morning of announcements I should not be tagged with last months records. SMH
 
I received an additional Idler Wheel today which I didn't order... Ordered the record in December and got it at the beginning of January. Didn't get a shipping notice back then, but given all the mistakes I didn't really care as long as I got the record. Received a shipping notice a few days ago and thought that's the belated notice for the first Idler Wheel, but turns out they really sent me another copy.

I'm still locked out from making any purchases - apparently my account has a temporary fraud hold on it which should have expired after 24 hours but it's still up after a week+. Matt offered to take my order over the phone, but I told him I preferred to get my account resolved so I don't run into the issue in the future.
 
Seeing that these issues are continuing to occur make me super glad I didn't renew after the December fiasco.

They still don't have this site fixed and working 100%. I see no reason to go back to playing their lottery of "will they fuck up my order this month?" as it stands right now.

January was an easy pass with those titles, and while February has some better ones, I would assume that Phrenology will see a wider release on black vinyl and the Aretha/El-P albums aren't really in my wheelhouse.

Maybe I'll consider it again if When the Pawn drops, but would hope it isn't a members only (do members only exclusives still even exist - it seems like regardless of how they're labeled, you can access them without being an active sub).
 
So my extra copies of NERD and Bitte Orca have vanished from my account overnight. They must have figured a way to remove all the erroneously added albums because I can't imagine they went through individually and did it. So sorry @AudioAce, I won't have a copy of Bitte Orca for you... OR WILL I. To be honest the fact that something is or is not on your order list doesn't seem to actually have any sort of bearing on whether it's sent to you or not so I'm still fully expecting to get those extra albums. But if N.E.R.D shows up I'm not letting it into my house. I'll open the package on the porch because THAT IS A BRIDGE TOO FAR MY FRIENDS
